Climb to the Coit Tower

We always love the Filbert Street climb to the Coit Tower from the Embarcadero. It was a gray day, but the hillside was covered with flowers. There's a steep staircase from near Levi's Plaza that takes you from the city streets to a magic garden. It must be strange living here, something out of an Ann of Green Gables story. Ann was always finding places like this, even in the big city.

As usual, we were gasping and panting by the time we reached the base of the tower. Also as usual, the view was spectacular.

The Coit Tower looms above.

The flowers were still blooming.

We always love this climb.
