Leadbetter Point State Park

We stopped by Leadbetter Point State Park at the north end of the Long Beach peninsula. It was a good introduction to the area with its tidal flats and sandy soil. Even in the forest, one could tell it was forest growing from sand. To the east were the clam flats, and to the west the sea.
