Honolulu - Wanderings

Usually, we climb up to Diamond Head and visit the World War II era fort inside, but it was awfully hot, so we followed the coast from our hotel rather than heading inland. We were well rewarded with views from a popular Honolulu park.

There was also the Coast Guard lighthouse which also serves as the living quarters for the head of the Honolulu based U. S. Coast Guard. Amusingly, we actually knew someone who had lived there, back when he was commanding officer, though he has since retired.

Yet another view of the sea

And still yet another again - Don't we ever get tired of this stuff?
