The Kaleberg Guide to the North Olympic Peninsula

Hiking and Nature om the North Olympic Peninsula
Agritourism on the North Olympic Peninsula

Olympic National Park is at the heart of the peninsula and offers a great variety of beautiful hiking trails, many accessible year 'round. There are rain forest hikes through the rich green of the Northweest. There are high country mountain hikes through flowering subalpine meadows. There are wild Pacific coast beach hikes with seastacks and tidepools. See below for a guide to some of our favorites.

Explore the farms and wineries of the North Olympic Peninsula. Clallam County is still farm country. Check out the local produce. See the calves at the dairy and try fresh raw milk. Treat your nose at the lavender farms. Get ideas (and plants) for your garden at the nurseries. Sample the local vintages at the wineries. See our Kaleberg Agritourism Map and start planning your trip today.

Great Hiking Trails

The big green blob in the center is Olympic National Park. The blue area around the edges represents the Pacific Ocean and the Strait of San Juan de Fuca. This site is still growing, but click on a map icon for a mountain, forest, lakeside or beach experience. (You should also see our interactive Google Map of local farms and wineries).
