New York Restaurants
UPDATE: Jack's Fifth has officially closed. Of course, as far as we were concerned, it had never opened.
They got a rave review in the New York Times, so we thought we would give them a try. Unfortunately, on the day of our meal, the owner ran into a few friends and closed the place for a private party. We might recommend the place to you if you are a friend of the owner. Otherwise do consider that they do not honor reservations and now their chef has left, perhaps to work in a restaurant, so if you want a great meal, or just a meal, try elsewhere.
