The Lair of the White Slug
If you haven't seen the campy 1980s movie The Lair of the White Worm,
you seriously should consider it. The worm doesn't make its appearance
until late in the flick, but the worm imagery, the Haley Mills heroine
and the snake lady villainess make it all worthwhile.
I mean, what does one do about the great white worm? Perhaps a
mongoose? Perhaps a snake charming record, Turkish Charmer?
As one reviewer put it, this movie explains why one should always wear
clean underwear.
