There has been a lot of silly talk about houses getting too large these days. Sometimes one even hears the term McMansion being used in a negative fashion, as if it is actually possible for a house to be too large. McMansions, of course, have their place, but I can never have enough rooms, or rooms quite big enough. In this book I'll introduce you to the house that is just right, the Too Big House, and challenge the entire idea of great outdoors.
That's right. For ages, going indoors meant going in to a smaller place. Today, there is simply no reason for this. Being indoors should not mean lacking space. Of course, having way too much room does present certain design and interior decorating challenges, but that's what this book is about.
