This store is on First Street, down in the Pioneer Square area and they
have all sorts of toys for small children. We aren't shopping for such toys
anymore, but we greatly enjoyed their collection of artisan Judaica. This
includes menorahs, mezzuzahs and other such gizmos, that can find a place
in any Jewish household. Some of them are so neat, they find homes with
interested gentiles. For more traditional gentiles and less traditional
Jews, they also have a great selection of brightly colored, wonderfully
garish Christmas ornaments. We bought a set of little frogs to adorn our
tree this year. If you aren't in the holiday spirit and you don't have little
children in your life, go anyway, they have all kinds of stuff, including
a rack of kitchen magnets in retro style, many of the "I love Valium"
genre.
UPDATE (23 Dec 05): There is also a Fireworks at Westlake Center, right near the Nordstrom's. Apparently, they have a number of stores around the Seattle area. We bought a very nice serving claw and are looking forward to years of elegant dining:
