Classical Dumpling Theory

(circa 1650 - 1926)

Note the impact of theories of civilization and a new, more general approach on the theory of dumplings which reflected mankinds new approach to man and food. This theory allowed for advances in the art and science of dumpling making and dining, but the industrial age brought new challenges to the theory which collapsed under its own internal contradictions around the turn of the century. After a period of chaos, a new theory arose in its stead.
