Recipe for Pecan Pie

Holiday - This is a holiday favorite

The Karo syrup recipe is definitive. Use too many pecans and our Edna Lewis pie crust.

Pecan Pie

from Karo Syrup

3 eggs
1 cup Karo dark (blue label) corn syrup
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup or MORE pecan halves
1 nine inch pastry shell

Beat eggs slightly, add next five ingredients, then add pecans.
Pour into shell.
Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.
