The origin of the dumplings is shrouded in the mists of time. The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle taught that dumplings were the food of the Titans and so should only be eaten months with a "T" (or tau) in them. Modern science has shown that dumplings are good food for everyone and can be enjoyed year round.
Primitive dumpling theories were developed in the Middle Ages, but were superceded by the classical theory in the Age of Reason. Shockingly, the classicial theory collapsed, like a souffle, around the turn of the century and was replaced by the Modern Unified Theory in 1926. Modern theory asserts that all dumplings can be unified in one's stomach, hence the term GUT (Grand Unified Theory).
